Maintenance and evolution
|
1 Following the LFP's guidelines given by the Delegate Commission, the SCA and UCO systems have been maintained and evolved. These are all the actions carried out by the engineering and infrastructure department this season: Consolidation of the maintenance of SCAs and UCOs by a single companyWe have worked in close collaboration with IKUSI in order to consolidate the maintenance of all systems into a single management process. Several working lines in different fields have been defined to facilitate the maintenance life cycle and to unify the information systems. Analysis of security productsWe have continued to look into the possibilities offered by leading-edge security products in order to strengthen the current systems and to validate the demands of events' criticality levels. Some of the key lines of work were the management of network traffic, making networks more secure, scope of CCTV, management of recordings and user interfaces. We have advanced in the design and management of PA systems as per the EU's directives on safety and evacuation. In this sense, the use of Bosch and Meyer products, as well as carrying out a demanding electro-acoustic analysis, has differentiated our system from others. The development of the turnstile CPU, as well as the inclusion of bidi readers, after carrying out a study on other possibilities, have allowed us to evolve into more efficient systems. We studied the features and capabilities of our system, bringing us closer to the new access control systems. We have continued to carry out tests with minor customers on the centralisation, management and maintenance of their ticket office services at a lower maintenance cost. Relationship with the institutions and other bodiesThere is still a close relationship with other bodies and institutions in order to know the problems that exist in terms of security as well as current developments. SEFP, aware of the situation and of recent developments in terms of security, actively participates whenever it is requested, either through the LFP or through third parties. Our relationship with the Higher Sports Council, the National Sports Office, the Ministry for the Interior, among others, is still very close. Training and adviceThe training of police security coordinators as well as the attendance of conferences and meetings has shown that the use of the new security systems deployed has very positive results. At the same time, the training of the technicians from the maintenance company IKUSI, their involvement and their service-orientation were highly positive. This made it possible to optimise the use of our systems. A lot of work was done on the training of clubs on the IT system for the management of capacity and ticketing. MEDIACOACH PROJECTThis project, headed by the LFP and Mediapro, has been in operation for three seasons. This project is well established and its level of maintenance is appropiate. During the season, maintenance operations were carried out due to updates and/or the optimisation of the tools. At the end of every season, general work starts on the update and adjustment of systems as well as de-installations and new installations. |
