Installation and improvement of the SCA systems in clubs

During this season, we moved closer to finalising the virtualisation of the access control servers, network infrastructure management, communication lines and perimeter security.

The management of communication lines with clubs has advanced, and we are now in the next management level. During the summer months, we will begin to deploy the communication lines to make it possible to have a secured data network between clubs and the LFP.

The ticket office and member support centre, with their associated equipment, are within acceptable maintenance parameters. Nevertheless, we looked into the possibility of renewing the hardware with partial operations.

The centralisation of services for clubs, such as the management of member campaigns, consumables, maintenance management, and so on, has been significant this year.

The amount of tickets printed this season has been approximately 5.5 million units for the professional competition and 500,000 units for the remaining competitions.

Installation and improvement of the SCA systems in clubs

We have continued improving access control infrastructures, providing them with a greater degree of integration and security as a result of the opening of clubs to third parties. Over the last two years there has been an increase on activities related to IT security, network integration and data traffic management with other IT environments.

We have continued to integrate the new CSCA-LFP-10 CPU in more stadiums, leading to greater service quality and limited costs for preventive and corrective maintenance. Within this scope, we tried to carry out a set of operations aimed at clearing and improving turnstiles, checking every part and element.

The evolution of turnstiles to the current TSCA-LFP-10 model has been satisfactory. This new turnstile development has already been installed and is fully operational in several stadiums since the beginning of the season. The current TSCA-LFP-10 projects are the following:

  • Nuevo San Mamés: installation and supply project for136 units of TSCA-LFP-10 turnstiles with the CSCA-LFP-10 CPU, plus 8 access points for VIPs and lift access in the car park. The whole installation will be done with data network and tcp/ip protocol.
  • Benito Villamarín: installation and supply project for 49 turnstile units for the north side of the stadium.
  • Nova Creu Alta: installation and supply project for 22 units.

The installation of the IT system will be planned at the end of the season for those clubs that meet the current legislation. Afterwards, the turnstile installation project will take place. Those clubs are: Mirandés, Ponferradina and Lugo.

Installation and improvement of the UCO systems in clubs

We continue to strengthen and modernise the infrastructures, equipment and systems that make up the Operational Control Units.

This season, operations were carried out in the following clubs: Martínez Valero, Balaídos, Santiago Bernabéu, Benito Villamarín, La Rosaleda and Nuevo Arcángel.

In October we started to work and coordinate with the Athletic Club in order to include security systems in its new stadiums. A result from this cooperation was the installation project for the access control systems and the UCO technical system done through our maintenance contractor, IKUSI. This work is expected to finish and be operational in the first/second week of August. As for our work in that project, we started with our work in May.

From the beginning of the season we have been in contact with Granada to adapt the Los Carmenes stadium to the current legislation. The work done on the CCTV circuit and the adaptation of the operational room was started in May. In June 2013 the installation will be finished and it will be at the disposal of the National Sports Office. There works received funding from the LFP, as per the LFP's works regulation.
